Emboss Resist!

Good evening everyone!!

I am back again with one more card. I have made this card taking a few challenges into consideration. In this card I have tried Emboss resist technique for the first time. A few days back I got hold of a beautiful stamp set by Mudra- "Ria". So this is my first card using this stamp. And I love it so much, I think a many more are gonna come.

Here is the card..
Emboss Resist Technique

To make this card:
●I took a thick white cardstock and stamped Itsy Bitsy lace stamp with versamark white ink. Then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. To bring out the design applied vintage distress ink.
●Next applied homemade texture paste through script stencil to add some texture.
●Then added paper doily and lace distressed with Broken China Distress Ink.
●Next element was the corrugated tag colored black with Ria. She has been stamped on watercolor paper and colored using watercolor pencils.
●Finally added some handmade flowers and the sentiment "Where there is love there is life".

Happy Diwali!

Good morning friends..

I am back again..But before that I would like to thank you all on my mixed media art journal. And hope you did take part in Unstampabelles October Challenge. If you haven't, there is still time. Click HERE.

And I would also like to welcome Karthika And Shivani for joining us.

Now coming to the card. And its my favourite, a shaker card. Diwali is near by and I wanted to make a card for the festive season

Here is the card..
Diwali Card

Diwali Card

To make this card first I stamped mandalas from the beautiful lace stamp set from Itsy-bitsy on a white card stock and heat embossed it. Then took a smaller cardstock and stamped it with white ink in such a way that it overlapped the Black mandalas in the BG. Heat embossed it and painted it pink. Made the shaker part and added a dia cutout from heat embossed mandala on a black cardstock. The sentiment is a printout. Attached the main cardstock to a maroon one. Finally added some blings.
